This web page is my small tribute to the brand new Channel 4 animated sitcom, Bob and Margaret.

Bob and Margaret burst on to our TV screens at the end of 1998 and soon established a cult following here in the UK where their adventures (or lack of them) riveted this small but dedicated following to the safety of their comfortable armchairs - each episode brings a new life style challenge to our heroes which ably parallels real life events of 90's London. A production of Nelvana, the Comedy Channel and Channel 4 here in the UK, Bob and Margaret look set to be with us for some time to come.

Based on the academy Award winning short film Bob's Birthday created by David Fine and Alison Snowden, Bob and Margaret is a brand new half hour animated situation comedy about an eccentric married couple living in London. Both are professional people, Bob has is own dental practice, Margaret makes out at the other end as a chiropodist. Married for 17 years, they have yet to decide on whether they want children, content to share their home with their loveable pets, Elizabeth and William. Some 13 episodes have been made to date with more in the pipeline we hear. Available on Video tape in most high street stores (e.g. HMV) if you missed this show first time round watch out for re-runs or better still, buy the tapes.

The Bob and Margaret Desktop Theme is based on the brand new animated sitcom recently aired on Independent Television (Channel 4) in the UK. The Theme features themed start-up and shutdown screens, a choice of two hi-colour desktop wallpaper, animated cursor set and new desktop icons. Also included are new windows sounds taken from Bob and Margaret episode. As if that was not enough, we have included a full feature screensaver made using Screen Saver Deluxe. Instructions are provided in a Readme file and the whole theme is available in a convenient zip file to download.

If you don't have a copy of Microsoft Plus! help is at hand in the form of Desktop Themes, a shareware desktop theme manager published by Jonathan Potter at Left Side Software. Click on to get your copy.
